GETTING READY FOR WINTER
As Autumn / Winter is finally upon us in the UK, it is important to begin to adapt to the change in weather, not only for style purposes but for efficiency too! During this transitional period, from the few weeks of heatwaves into the colder seasons, you should make an effort to dress accordingly. Preparation is key! If you are dressed the part, you will be comfortable, and when you are comfortable you are confident!
Streetwear is often my go to option when it comes to style, it evokes a sense of freedom, allowing me to adapt in multiple environments without looking out of place. With it being particularly cold right now it’s a great excuse (and practical reason of course) to bring out the layers.
I opted to style this Distressed Curved Hem T-Shirt by Sixth of June Paris. As well as adding a layer of warmth in these treacherous cold streets, the curvature of the hem and the frontal distressed detail, effortlessly adds a real sense of character to the outfit. Not only is this long line t-shirt stylish, at a humble price of £19.99 it is ridiculously affordable too (Grab one while you can!).
The Tech Fleece Pants visually anchors the sportswear look as well as practically keeping in the thermal heat, trapping body warmth without physically weighing me down.
To complete the look of comfort and minimalism reflective of the grey clouds during this season, I am also rocking the all new Nike Sock Dart trainers with an icey strap. These are seriously the most lightweight creps I have ever worn. The sock-like fit keeps me on my toes, making me often forget I am wearing footwear which is great when manoeuvring during rush hour.
