The recent celebration of AirMax has definitely been one to remember, I have never seen a week so active with releases, events, competitions and collaborations all for the love of this iconic brand and design. I managed to get my hands on a pair of newly released Air Max 90 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit Trainers , and this design looks so great and feels so light! Perfect footwear for being on the move in style. As anticipated earlier this year, I predicted that Nike would continue to inject more technology into their existing product range.
The lightweight flexible dual-density cushioning with memory foam sock liner really showcases how far Nike have pushed the boundaries, developing sportswear in line with the demands of athletics without compromising on style.
This OG colourway is an absolute classic for this silhouette so it’s only right that I show you how I style them:
I decided to style these with an all black denim fit and grey Yeezy style Tee. With black being the dominant colour on the trainer, I thought it would be great to create a look which compliments the darkest pattern rather than sourcing a bold red or subtle grey to match.
The black canvas of the outfit also allows the footwear to pop, allowing me to stand out effortlessly ins style.
These bad boys as well as a wide rage of AirMax trainers are available from Footasylum here.
And on that note let me leave you to vibe out with one of my favourite Nike AirMax centred lyrics by Grime artist AJ Tracey:
“Run a boy down in my 110’s, Run a boy down in my 90’s”
